The Mammoth Race Department has hosted quality events since 1974, ranging from FIS World Cup and NorAm events; World Class Snowboard and Freeskiing events, to the Alpine Masters National Championships and Paralympic Nationals; as well as many U.S. Ski & Snowboard team (formerly USSA), Far West and regional races and events for ski clubs and racing leagues. We are also the home of the Mammoth Masters Team.

US Ski & Snowboard + FIS Events
U.S. Ski & Snowboard (formerly USSA) is the national governing body of Olympic skiing and snowboarding. It is the parent organization of the U.S. Ski, U.S. Snowboarding and U.S. Freeskiing Teams. Mammoth Mountain is proud to host many U.S. Ski & Snowboard and FIS
races and events throughout the season.
The Mammoth Masters Team is the top notch competition program for U.S. Ski & Snowboard (formerly USSA) masters racers, FWRA club and league competitors in the nation. Geared towards the serious racer, training includes gate drills, training courses, video analysis, race preparation with timed training runs and inspection practice, skiing drills and freeskiing.
The Mammoth Race Department hosts a number of marquee events throughout the season including the US Grand Prix, Revolution Tour, Fire & Police World Winter Games, Paralympic Nationals, CNISSF State High School Championships, Mammoth's Jr. Village Championships, and the Mammoth Invitational.
