You Got to Get Up to Get Down

Challenge yourself on a 5k race from the base to the summit of Mammoth Mountain at 11,053ft on foot, cross-country skis, snowshoes, or a fat bike.

About Ezakimak

Ezakimak is Kamikaze spelled backwards. The legendary Kamikaze mountain bike trail spans from Mammoth Mountain's peak, weaving through the "backside" of the mountain and finishing at Main Lodge. The Ezakimak Challenge allows participants to climb up 2,000ft in elevation on the famed Kamikaze mountain bike trail – but in reverse, and on snow. Spectators and family can join in to cheer on the athletes following an evening gondola ride to the top where all the family fun awaits at the Sunset Summit Party featuring music, food, drinks and more.

"After running up and down mountains all over the globe, the Ezakimak remains one of the most excitingly beautiful events I've been a part of."  - Tim Tollefson, Ezakimak King of the Mountain
